I had a total of 2GB of RAM installed (4 x 512MB). I just installed another

Until Windows XP, I used the Cross I-pen to restore old photographs. I
has a serial connection.  The software loads fine but is useless.

was in a situation yesterday at a customer site where a couple of these
articles fixed the problem correctly with no intervention.  Very cool!  You

I've got a problem with my Hard Disk because every time I double clicked it,
it opens in a new window. Right clicking reveals Open(wvcst) on the first
line and Explore(0) on the second line. I know this should be Open and

recently when browsing the newsgroups I got a warning from my AV app saying
it found a virus! I deleted it right away and did numerous scans with my AV,
spybot s&d and online scans and thankfully nothing else turned up. what I
want to know is did this virus originate from MS ...

I have had around 1GB free on my primary WinXP hard disk for some
months now and am soon transitioning to a larger hard disk. But
suddenly just now I got a strange message that my disk space problem
was cleaned up and I have 3.2GB free!! I didn't erase a lot of files

I've seen a couple of posts on here about a Keyboard not working on
startup of Windows XP but here's a little twist for you.
I tried a USB keyboard instead of a PS/2 and it worked fine. I did see
a number of comments/ideas saying it could be to do with the PS/2
