I'm having a problem where several of my computers here at work hang at

i have an error message that appear whenever i try to clear my browser
history. That is               error in C:\windows\system32\inetcpl.cpl
                        missing entry:clearmytracksbyprocess

I thought Windows would know its product so I ran the reg cleaner and some
programs had glitches that sytem restore fixed.
Has anyone any comment about using it re: the reliability factor.

Some time back I had enabled hardware DEP on my laptop, which runs XP
SP2 and has a Core2 Duo T7600 processor. This was working properly, as
confirmed by the Data Execution Prevention section of Performance
Options as well as by running NXTEST.

I upgraded my XP Home installation to XP Professional SP2.  Following the
upgrade 89 updates downloaded but they won't install.  The computer
subsequently powers down.  The next time I boot up the same events occur
again - 89 updates download but they won't install.

I  have searched and searched for a solution to this for XP Home Edition but
I am yet to find one.
