I'm having a problem where several of my computers here at work hang at
logoff with this:

occuring.
Win Media Player (wmplayer.exe) will not open, and I cannot uninstall it26 Feb 2008 17:11 GMT2
Windows Explorer shows wmplayer.exe to be 63KB, 10/18/2006.  It will not
open. Starting setup_wm.exe results in a message that I must close Win Media
Player, but of course it is not actually open.  Ignoring the warning, I hit

Can anyone help me with that...
i have an error message that appear whenever i try to clear my browser
history. That is               error in C:\windows\system32\inetcpl.cpl

programs had glitches that sytem restore fixed.

Some time back I had enabled hardware DEP on my laptop, which runs XP
SP2 and has a Core2 Duo T7600 processor. This was working properly, as

I upgraded my XP Home installation to XP Professional SP2.  Following the
upgrade 89 updates downloaded but they won't install.  The computer
subsequently powers down.  The next time I boot up the same events occur
again - 89 updates download but they won't install.
