On a laptop (ThinkPad) running XP Pro SP2 with two partitions C:, D;, + 1 hidden Recovery (XP preinstall). Windows XP was running correctly but during an online update I got BSOD page_fault in non-paged_area ntfs.sys Stop 0x00000050.

Hi, I encountered this problem in my computer where there is an error code 1608 ("Install driver encountered problem"). It said " unable to create install driver instance return code -2147221021 ". It also said that it has something to do with Idriver.exe and kernel32.dll

1. Click on Disc Clean as I have been doing on a regular basis for years. 2. Cancelled the operation. 3. When I tried to log on to any website, I received an Error Message something "Null" and that I may have typed the web address incorrectly.
