I installed the Upgrade Advisor, after being told that I had first to install a .NET program. Now that I know my system is compatible with Vista, how can I uninstall the Upgrade Advisor? It does not appear in Add/Remove Programs.

The on/off button on the monitor is sticking now and then. I push it in to turn on the monitor and it "sticks",........ie will not come back out. Is there some safe lubricant I can use to correct this problem? Thank you, Steve

Help I cannot get my computer to boot up without having the windows xp cd in the drive, if it is in the drive it boots up fine after quiting setup menu on the cd, then it switches to the xp bootup on the hard drive. any help??

I had always thought that no matter when you saved files on a hard disk that they would be listed in ASCII order in the directory (once it was refreshed). I think I forgot that the length of the file name might affect this.

I can't run the add/remove for Office 97. Not from the control panel, not from the CD, and not from a copy of the CD on a seperate partition. I can run the CD on a differen computer. setup.exe will not run on the Office 97 CD. It will not run when I copied

When I use disk clean up, the 'compressed old files' does not empty itself completely. If I go into options for them and change it to say 5 days instead of 10, then it just changes the amount that are compressed, but still does not empty completely. Any ideas?
