What sort of things would you put on an end users checklist to do before i
start migrating to windows xp

Several of the pc's at my office still show the incorrect time after the
daylight savings time change.  I have checked all to ensure that the most
recent DST updates have been applied and they have.  If I manually change
them, they revert back to the incorrect time within an hour ...

I tried to also post this message in this group but I must have mistyped some
info so this what I have posted in basics and performance and maintenance
groups.  I reall need some help, please!

I suppose this is a hardware or a firmware question, but on the faint
chance that there's a Windows tweak that'll help me, I'll beg for help
here. I run WindowsXP on an MSI6398 motherboard. This board has an

Somehow the system fonts that WindowsXP Home uses to display small menu icons
got corrupted.  The issue is my radio checkboxes have been replaced by some

Running XP Home.  When I tell the shutdown to Hibernate, it kind of
shuts down for a second but pops back up and I get an error message in
the lower right hand start bar that there are insufficient resources
for this task.  Can't find anything on Google.  Anyone here help?

ok i think i  really messed my computer up. i was trying to find out how to

Yesterday I had a weird problem occure for the first time.The system
has been booting up with no problem since I got my new motherboard
motherboard 3 months ago but yesterday when I botted up it just hung
at the Black screen with the MS Windows Logo and the little blue bar

When I load a CD (most recently Turbo Tax) into the CD drive I get an error
message that says "drvie not accessible".  The CD drive WILL play audio CD's
but not other CD's such as Turbo Tax, etc.  Any assistance would be
