MsMpEng is really sucking up the CPU cycles for quite a while after startup. Now, it's down to 0 cycles, per Windows Task Manager, but it was staying at about 50% on my dual core processor for a long time. I understand it's a Defender program - Right? How do I get to a Defender

My Dell computer and printer are very mad at me, I used a refill cartridge and they will recognize the refill. It tells me the tank is empty, but i know better. I can hit the keep printing button but it would be helpful if the tank showed ink usage. Can I "fool" the system? ...

I switch between accounts fairly often. But for on account often after I log on the background desktop shows up then the computer goes to the login screen again. Always after I log in the second time things are fine. Any ideas?

Hi. I have changed the network settings on a Windows XP machine and after rebooting, it no longer lets me logon. After entering the username and password it tells me "The system could not log you on. Make sure your username and domain are correct"
