Hi all. I'm trying to update the firmware on my Samsung SW-408B (F:). Problem is, I have it set as a secondary CD-ROM. When I try running the firmware update it detects the primary CD-ROM (E:) Sony CDU-5211) so I have to abort the update.

My computer was running really slow. I looked to see if there were any programs running and I found a file called explorer.exe. The file is using 99% of the computer's CPU. Does anyone know what this program is or if there is anyway that I can fix the problem?

When we upgraded to Internet Explorer 7 for some unknown reason Java disappeared from the computer. We downloaded the Sun Microsystem java but still the games on pogo.com will not open. Tried re installing IE 7 to no avail. What should I try now?

My computer won't start up because it says NTLDR is missing. Now I was thinking of using a boot disk to repair the file but there is no floppy disk drinve on my laptop. Could anyone suggest what to do in this case?
