Hi..
Due to some odd things, downloading expansions to programs and games it
allways ends upp on c for some reason (probably in a tempfile). In the
begining i had the OS-partion (C) set to 14 GB and thought that would be

Don't know how to make boot and I don't have an installation disk.  Could you

-- After being turned off my computer ( HP Pavillion a250n ) will shut down
but does not turn off. I have to hold the power button down for about 10
seconds to manually shut the computer off. I have kept XP up to date with all
the required downloads and use Norton internet ...

I use FileStream's Turbo Backup & am trying to delete some old unnecessary
backups.  Using Explorer all the files can be deleted with the exception of
Mozilla profiles in which my bookmarks are kept.  I am using WinXp service
pack 3.  How can I delete these files please?

Hi, i just bought a netgear wireless card PCI for my dell desktop. Ther
are 3 pci slots, one occupied with realtak ethernet card which i
working. I used both the empty vacant pci slots for the Netgea
wireless card but the harsware was not detected by window. So, i too

In XP, my midi sequencer program files suddenly show the windows media
player icon instead of their usual icon.
I tried deleting the .mid file type and creating a new one, but the wmp
icon still displays. When I choose Change Icon, the correct icon is not

Same problem as Philippe : I have Windows XP Home ; Windows explorer

I have an older E-Machines system running XP Home which I periodically
update---A couple days ago I was connected to the net and downloading some
Windows updates when the system froze ---I could not  break the freeze with

My computer was working normally until it just turned off. Now, when I press
the power button, the computer will turn on, but it won't start up. The
monitor is blank and on standby, like it is when it isn't getting anything

Recently, I had a problem when I turned on my computer (Win XP). I
