Finalized a catalog at home in CT -- client has urgent beyond-final-minute
changes and I'm in FL so I asked my son to FedEx down a disk that has
everything on it, including fonts. TrueType fonts are no problem. But trying
to install PostScript fonts I'm getting one of two error ...

I have a Dell XPS system that is about 2 years old.  It has 2 gb of ram
also has a western digital 250 gb hard drive.  I normally (stupidly
keep my computer on all the time and never had any problems with any o
my other 3 computers being left on (when they were new).  

When I log off one windows user and sign on another user the desktop icons
are moved on the desktop.
desktop icons are located where I want them and they do not move unless I
drag them to a new location on the desktop except when I log off one user and

I've been having trouble with my XP sp2 laptop lately
so I decided to look at the software loaded in the Reg Edit
area.  I came up with the following and don't know what
they refer to or how they got there.  I didn't install them.

Microsoft Update on my desktop PC offered me XP SP3 so I installed it.
Then I went to my old laptop, an IBM T30, but Microsoft Update didn't
offer SP3.
Is there a way to find out why this might be? If there's a good reason

In my software panel, I see the following installed :
- Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1
- Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Hotfix
- Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Service pack 1

Recently I have a complete system recovery performed due to bad problems.
I saved OE6 store folder backup before system recovery.
I now have new set of OE6 running and trying to import all older messages
from store folder backup (.dbx files).

Are the COA keys for Windows XP Media Centre Edition and XP Pro
interchangeable?
In other words, if I install XP Pro on a Media Centre Edition Key,
will it activate successfully?

I have WinXP Professional 5.2.2600 SP2 Build 2600

About 20 percent of my harddrive is occupies with svchost.exe.Numbers.hdmp
files.  They are located in c:\windows\pchealth\ErrorRep\UserDumps.  They
appear to be old reports on irregular shuttdown.  Is it okay to delete these
files?

I have recently downgraded the Operating System on my Laptop (Lenovo
Notebook 3000N200) to Windows XP Pro with reasonable success. However, there
is one problem. I can go into Standby and Hibernate mode all right, though
it takes an easy 60 secs to do so, but I cannot wake the ...

Whenever I start my pc i get the following message:-
sttray.exe - Entry Point Not Found.  The procedure entry point
LocalizeString could not be located in the dynamic link library STLang.dll.
Any suggestions please?
