I am having a problem with a svchost service. In my case it's my teenage
daughters laptop. When satrting up it is very slow, and trying to open
programs it just sits and sits. I have (yesterday) done a virus scan and

my computer shows low disk space so went to control panel and removed
unnecessary programs and applications
i also deleted  unnecessary files from  hard drive but still i cant get
empty space on my hard drive

While finishing up the download of Media player 11, after validation, the
error message says the following:
Windows media player 11
Set up can not continue

When I push the Start Button, the menu comes up but only lasts for two sec
and then disappears. I don't even have time to select a category and it's
gone. How do I delay it?

This issue is about a future release, if any at all. Specificaly WinXP Pro
SP3 (included) Setup CD.
I have contacted Microsoft; Marketplace, Customer Service, and their Order
Desk, all do not have any answer.

I have adobe 8 loaded but everytimeI try to use it  my screen freezes.
Attempting to run it from 'programmes' I get an error message 'cant find the

Hi  I had to start my computer to day 1 because it was so screwed up. I used

Daughters laptop has a very annoying problem. Randomly a message will
appear saying explorer has an error and must be restarted. Clicking
any of the 3 options causes the status bar to vanish and then reappear
as explorer restarts.  Odd thing is that if she moves the message away

I am using Windows XP on my computer and running very low on disc
space. I've run "Disc cleanup" and checked on any hidden internet
