This is strange. I have two nearly identical HP laptops. Both are the same model, but one (that gives trouble) has some additional hardware (video) features. Both are running Vista Home Premium 64 and have all the same updates applied.

I deleted some large files from D drive to recycle bin. I needed the back, so I went to recycle bin to restore them. Lo, and behold, only fe of the files were there. Presumably the recycle bin was too small t contain all of them. I restored the few ones back. But the others
