This is strange. I have two nearly identical HP laptops.
Both are the same model, but one (that gives trouble) has
some additional hardware (video) features.  Both are running
Vista Home Premium 64 and have all the same updates applied.

Before reinstalling XP from scratch on my seriously messed up system, I
ran the Files and Settings Transfer wizard, but I haven't yet tried
restring anything. The files I backed up separately anyway.
I have reinstalled the programs I want to use now -- with the exception

This just started happening yesterday. Whenever I have my documents
open (eg: "My Music"), I could be scrolled halfway down the page when
it inexplicably "refreshes" itself, bringing me back to the top of the
page. Likewise, the icons on my desktop will momentarily blink as if I

Multiple times per day, I have an issue where I seem to lose the
connection to my server, which is the primary domain controller, file
server, SQL server, etc to my company.  I can still make domain

I recently had my Verizon FIOS system rebooted by verizon due to a crash in
the system.  I had two XP laptops and a Mac laptop all working on my wireless
network, using 128 bit encription.  Since the reboot, I've had problems.  
Verizon thinks it's a router issue, but I'm not sure ...
