I like DVapp's ability to capture DV type 1. However, it is very buggy --  
sometimes it says capturing but is not. Is there a version that is less
buggy or is there an alternative for type 1 capture?
I have verion 9.0.

Can anyone tell me the best format to use for a slide show?  Would SVCD
provide better quality than a DVD?  The project I'm burning is esstentially a
slide show with no movie images in it.  All still pictures.

I just bought a new ATI AIW 9200 and hooked up my cable to my pc. I
works great. When I try to get the higher channels like HBO, Max, an
Showtime it says station not available. Is there anyway to get thes
stations or does my cable service provider block this out for me.

I'm hoping someone has encountered a similar problem and
will tell me how to resolve my own.

I just noticed the on one side of my monitor there seems to be like a black
hole. I have my screen centered perfectly; I see the whole desktop fine. The
1st noticed it when I was moving my mouse around and at the left edge of the
screen I lost the pointer. And along with that ...

Prior to SP2 updates, I could download audio and video
files from the internet.  After updating, MSN cannot
locate the files.  There must be a securtiy setting that
changed with the updates, but I cannot find it.

When I insert a DVD into my DVD drive, it asks me if want to open the DVD
with Windows Media Player, Cyberlink PowerDVD or Real Player or Take No
Action
but it gives NO other options.  I ALWAYS want to open it with Nero's

Please help, since this morning my monitor, or more the
