I like DVapp's ability to capture DV type 1. However, it is very buggy --  
sometimes it says capturing but is not. Is there a version that is less
buggy or is there an alternative for type 1 capture?
I have verion 9.0.

Can anyone tell me the best format to use for a slide show?  Would SVCD
provide better quality than a DVD?  The project I'm burning is esstentially a
slide show with no movie images in it.  All still pictures.

works great. When I try to get the higher channels like HBO, Max, an

I have a 1.8 Gig 606meg desktop PC and a CTX PV505 LCD monitor.
In Windows XP Home Settings I can select 1024x768 16 Bit res or 800x600 32

Prior to SP2 updates, I could download audio and video
files from the internet.  After updating, MSN cannot
locate the files.  There must be a securtiy setting that
changed with the updates, but I cannot find it.

with Windows Media Player, Cyberlink PowerDVD or Real Player or Take No

last night, media player 9 stopped pulling up on my
computer.  If i clicked on a video link, media player
would show up on my start bar, but it would never pull
up.  I would get the sound from the video, but no video.
