I have spent some time putting together my movie and I'm almost finished when
I realized that the end product needs to be a .avi file, NOT a wmv or wma

I used movie maker from my digital camcorder.  It looked good.  but when I
copied it back to my camcorder (fire wire connection), it did not copy. All

The camera is a JVC  GR DVL 805 Digital movie camera. It came with a cable
that fits into the camera on 1 end and the other fits into the computer, a
fairly recently built one.
It is USB and the other  is Firewire.

installed is causing this.  When I right click on any .mpg or .avi file, my

I recently purchased a Dell 8400 w/xp media edition, Radeon X300SE, TVT1 and

I am able to picture in picture to compare the direct cable feed into the TV
