hi. I'm trying to find an easy movie editing software that can edit home dvd movie. I tried MS Movie Maker, but it doesn't support the file. Does anyone know of any good s/w? Thanks a bunch.

I'm new to movie making. My Sony DCR-PC9E is connected via USB. XP recognises it when in Memeory Stick mode but Moviemaker just says a "video capture device was not detected. Verify device is turned on and connected properly and try again."

every time I try to play a Video File in WMP v 9 or v10 XP will freeze. It will show the first frame and locks up XP, to the point that even the Cap'sLock key on the keybroad won't work. The only out is to power off to rebot
