hi.  I'm trying to find an easy movie editing software that can edit home dvd
movie.  I tried MS Movie Maker, but it doesn't support the file.   Does

every time I try to play a Video File in WMP v 9 or v10 XP will freeze.
It will show the first frame and locks up XP, to the point that even the

Can someone tell me how to convert a wmv file to mpeg.
I have captured the video and it automatically saves it
as a wmv file. To be able to save onto a DVD-RW and then
play on my DVD I have been told it needs to be a mpeg

I have tried Full Mode and Skin and so on.  In Skin, the picture shrinks back
to tiny everytime I start a new video.  In Full, it has a big black border.
