I got Easyvcd as you suggested. I'm trying to make a vcd on a cd from a Movie Maker file. From Movie maker2 i saved the file as AVI I opened the AVI file in TMPGEnc & made a VCD file.

I recently upgraded to XP and now cannot see my DVD camera in Explorer. The USB, mass storage, etc. all indicate that the camera is there but I cannot see it in Explorer and as a result cannot move files from the camera to the harddrive. I am however able to use the

The problem that I'm having is that all of the sudden, I can't get thumbnails for mpg files. Wmv files are fine. It was working great until about 2 weeks ago. Is there some index file that I can delete so that it will rebuild

Whenever i try to capture video in Movie maker i receive an error message which generates no reply from Microsoft. Nero OEM suite (supplied with Lite-on DVD burner) also functions till i request capture video then goes into error message

Is it possible to see a preview of a movie from my computer? I mean if I have an .avi or mp3 file for example and I click on it once, can I see a preview of it on my computer on thr left panel? Or at least listen to songs without opening media player?

When selecting "ATI RAGE Theater audio" error msg "device is not responding close any other application using device and try capturing again. When other option "SoundMAX Digital Audio" is selected. . . no audio seems to be available. It will however let me capture the video.

I am on Windows XP professional, AMD 2200 processor with 512 MB of RAM. I just installed Nero and finally got the codec to run DVDs on the computer. However, I am discovering that the sound is quite choppy. I tried
