I recently bought the Sony DCR-DVD300 Handy cam and am
having the problem of my computer not recognizing my

I've just upgraded my OS from Windows 2000 to XP, I was trying to download
Windows Media Player 9.0 or 10 but I couldn't do it, I've tried several times

Movie maker won't start. Just a box with Unspecified Error
and an OK button. I thought by installing SP2, the problem
would be resolved. It wasn't even though all the drivers
and the .exe file were replaced with MM2.1 versions.
