It says to adjust pixels and colours and stuff, but that doesn't work either. the drive makes a loud whirring noise when it tries to start up.

Importing files in Windows Movie Maker I usually have no problem. But one file results in this error message: "The file is not indexed and cannot be imported" It plays OK in Windows Media Player. What am I doing wrong?

I want to copy (burn) only part of a video. It is in my Media player all lined up for from the point where I want to copy. How do I copy that part to the hard drive and then write the selected portion to a disc. Thanks
