I am trying to capture video using a USB connection.
The "Digital device format (DV-AVI)" option is greyed out.
Is this because this option requires a Firewire connection ?

Importing files in Windows Movie Maker I usually have no problem. But one
file results in this error message:
"The file is not indexed and cannot be imported"

I want to copy (burn) only part of a video.  It is in my Media player all
lined up  for from the point where I want to copy.  How do I copy that part
to the hard drive and then write the selected portion to a disc.  Thanks
