What is the best format for capturing DV clips to MM2.1 so that the DVD has
the best quality picture? NTSC?    I take it DV-AVI is the best quality to
burn on a DVD?

I've just installed my first DVD writer. It came bundled with various
programs, including an upgrade to my old OEM Nero programs. One of
these is NeroVision Express. But when I tried to run it, I got a
message saying I require DirectX 9.0.

Matrox SATA hard drives configured Raid0 for speed and video only.  I created
all partitions during Windows XP Pro setup.   C: was partitioned Fat32 no

I have downloaded a video from a internet site to Windows XP, Home version
2000, with service pack two.  I have tried to burn the downloaded video using
a DVD-R into my16x DVD+/-RW drive, and I get the error message COOD11AB,
(Cannot burn files to CD).

At this point I've only made movies with the Windows Media player format. I'm
considering purchasing a DVD burner soon. Is there a way to convert existing
movies into the DVD format, or simply taking wht I've created and burn it to
DVD so I can show it on TV?
