I have been able to play DVD's on my pc in the past. Im not sure what version
my decoder is. How do i check my decoder version, and is there a freeware
version of a decoder i can find anywhere?

I'm new to Quicktime.  I've just started playing with it,
and I'm trying to convert a simple mpeg 1 file to a MOV.
I  import the mpg, and it plays fine.
I choose export "movie to quicktime"

I thought the issue was just the audio at first, but when I watch a DVD, it
seems to be stuck in fast forward.  It does this on any software; WMP,
PowerDVD and Real Player.  I only have this problem with DVD's, not with

I just bought a Sony Handycam, I can import from the cam and edit with no
issues.  The video plays wonderfully from my copmuter.  When I burn it to a
CD and play it on my pc or DVD player the Video is slightly choppy with much
lower resulution.  I'm gone through some many CD's ...

hi.  am new at this.  i have saved my movie to cd but not dvd.  could you
help me in getting it to dvd.  i read another posting that said to change the
wmv to avi...how do i do this?  the movies i have been working on need to be

I have some file WMV.
I played correctly with external player (BS player and Radlight) a few
