I have a Compaq Presario with a XP Home edition. When I tried to upgrate to XP Professional, an error message showed that the installation can not find the igfxcpl.cpl file from Windows\Drivers\Intel\Graphics.

We have developed an MPEG-2 Decoder (testfilter.ax) and registered it using regsvr32. When we run the Windows XP Video Decoder Checkup Utility, this filter is not listed there. What should we do inorder to list the filter there in the utility.

It's probably because I'm using a p2 366 with only 256 ms of ram, huh? That's what I thought, but just had to check... Ya know for posterity's sake. Is anyone else getting this problem?

I captured my video in DV format, used WMM to edit it, then saved it as DV quality. This was save as 16gig file. When I burned it to DVD using WinAVI, all worked great. The only problem with the quality is when the video is panning left to right, all verticle

I have a Canon MV20 PAL DV camera. The camera works fine with my old Win98 PC. I have a new PC WinXP SP2 with an onboard IEEE 1394 firewire with OHCI Complient Controller. Connecting the camera, it is recognized and the Movie Maker (2.1) starts.

I am using XP and Movie Maker and can capture the video from my Sony DCR-TRV310 via Firewire without problems. The issue is that I cannot get any audio. According to the Movie Maker help files, I should have an audio configuration window as one of the steps in the video capture ...

I'm looking at a list of .WMV files. If I single-click one (or hover over it with preview on) I get the error: The instruction at "0x0152b676" referenced memory at "0xd0000000". The memory could not be "read".
