I can capture video from my analog video camera but I can't get the sound to
play. My camera has two ports one for video and the other for audio.  What do
I need to do to get the sound from the tape to capture as well as the video?

I just bought a Gateway 825GM and am trying to hook up the VCR to copy home
movies to DVD.  I FINALLY got something, one frozen image and that's it.  I
have an AverMedia MPEG Video Capture card. I've tried hooking it up anyway I
could think of.  Could this be a software problem ...

Camcorder works fine at work on an XP Pro SP2 desktop.
At home I have an XP Home SP2 laptop and an XP Pro SP2 desktop with
firewire. They used to capture just fine before SP2, but since it works at

I know Nero can add chapters to DV footage in the editing phase.  However, I
cannot figure out how to add chapters using Win. movie maker.  
Is it possible?

Anyone know of a free utility anywhere that will convert the newer
quicktime movies to an mpg or avi or wmv?
I've got Roxio 7, and most quicktime files can be imported, but I have
a few files, from the internet, that will not import.

I recently got some upgrades for my computer, and since then, I have been
unable to capture video from my Sony MiniDV camcorder. I have the right
specifications for running Movie Maker 2.1 (which is what I have). I am
also having the same problems now with Adobe Premiere Pro 1.0.

Help! I use my camcorder all the time. Since installing
SP2 says my camera isn't configured correctly. IT's a

A driver cleaner program removed all of the windows xp preinstalled display
adapters even the standard VGA one.
Are there files on the XP install CD that I can extract to restore the
driver database?
