I just started using Movie Maker and when I tried to import some video clips
(mpeg) I got the following error.  Any suggestions?
D:\PG04_M007.mpg could not be imported. An interface has too many methods to
fire events from

No problems capturing clips from Canon Ixus directly into XP.  Movie Maker
2.1 previews all fine.  But when played back on Windows Media Player, the
color are super-saturated and makes it look like a negative.
Running Sapphire Catalyst driver on ATI Radeon 9600 128MB video card.

When I try to play a DVD, I get perfect Video, but NO Audio.

Whereas I can watch video with Windows Media player 10 on my computer, when I
use the s-video to watch the video on TV, the video is not displayed on the
TV: the Windows Media player frame is displayed on TV but there is a black
rectangle where the movie should be displayed.

Im having problems getting my video card to work properly with XP. I just
installed it like 2 days ago, at the time my video card was working fine. I
have tried alot of the "fixes" listed from various sites to no avail. If
anyone knows a way i can get this to work properly ...

Hi. I'm working with Movie Maker 1 to make a video clip.
I use the Import command to import an *.avi file to the Collection. The
*.avi comes with some background audio, which I want to get rid of. How can I

Hi all, in wmm I am using the newspaper as some of the clips in my movie and
when I make the headlines on the newspaper I notice that there is a black
square on the newspaper.  Is there a way I can insert a picture into that
empty space ?  I hope someone knows what I am talking ...

is ; if somebody knows a good book to will teach me the video universal video
codecs ,and formats ....well it is probably confused for most a video

I use XP.  I imported a video of  90 min length onto my computer.  When I
imported it into Movie Maker the final quarter skips and the video and audio
are disjointed.  I am using a Sony Vaio FS with 512mb ram and 65g HD of which
only 20g is being used.  What caused this?

I am trying to make  a montage type video with clips of video and pics
lasting about 3 and a half minutes to a song i have saved on my pc.
I have toyed around with movie maker and figured out how to enter things

Typical Microsoft...
I upgrade to WMP 10 and all my existing mpeg files don't work. I just get
sound and a black screen. I see quite a few others posting similar problems.  
It now appears that my DVD Encoders are no longer compatible with WMP 10.

How do you programatically manipulate webcam video properties?  Using
DirectShow I can display the property page, but I don't know how to actually
change the values shown in code.
