I have a new HP with Windows XP Pro and a Canon Elura 50 DV Camcorder. I have
purchased a firewire IEEE 1394 and have hooked them up, but I cannot get it
to work. Help ASAP this is for my junior french final!!!

I have a video clip with the following spec:
1806Kbps, 29.970fps, 624x464 (4:3), DX50=DixXnetwork DIVX V5
I have divX codec for Windows 5.2.1.1328 installed in my WinXP Pro SP2
but WMP 10 could not play this clip. Anerror dialog  saying " WMP cannot

I'm new to this newsgroup, and I'm hoping to get some assistance.

Help please! When playing a DVD I have the audio but not the video. All I get

okay ive had most the recent wmp and none of them play most of the shows or
movies i download.. and than when i tried downloading the codec * because it
says doesnt support * it dont help any

I'm at a loss now... so here I am.  Sometimes my dvd player works fine..
other times it will not read any disc that I put it.
The drivers are up to date and Microsofts trouble shooting isn't helping me
any.
