DVDs are not being read in my windows xp, pentium 4 pc with 128 mb ram using

im having problem burning anything with any software on my computer
recently.  i normally use nero and have never had a problem till recently.  
when i try burning it will start fine but after about 7% it would stop and
loads of errors would display eg. illegal disc, or not a cd ...

When browse with Internet Explorer and open a movieclip, it opens oldish
mplayer2.exe instead of wmplayer.exe. All this happened after I did run a

I have successfully created my story in PhotoStory 3.  I then imported into
Movie Maker.  I saved it as Av file.  I then used TMPGEnc to convert it to a
MPEG1 file.  I then burned it to a CD by just using the copy to cd function

when i go to watch tv on my laptop it says video error files needed to
display are missing or corrupt, I can watch dvd's and everything else works.
where can i find these files that are missing or corrupt and download
them???????or is there another issue i am unaware of???  help ...

i am new and try find related subject in group but cant find any.some wmv
file i play using window media player had copy in temporary internet file and

I have a windows media player file and I am trying to import it into Windows
Movie Maker and when I try to play the file an error message appears.  Do I
need to convert the Winows Media Player File into another file type?  And if

I am at the end of my tether.
When I bought my computer it had 512MB RAM and a Radeon 9200 graphics card
which I ahve upgraded recently due to m computer telling me that it is not
compatible with Windows Media Centre.
