How do I save movies from my DVD-Rom to my hard drive?  I have some DVD's
that are not "protected".  I have downloaded XP Codec Pack.

software (namely the adobe and sony one) but all of them seem to convert my
video files to MPEG-2. This is lenghty process and since my DVD player can

I can't get my TV out to work  I have everything hooked up S-Video to my TV
but I can't turn on the S-Video.  I have an ATI Mobility Radeon 9700.  I want

I have Windows Media Player 10 and can play all the files except for .avi
files. Whenever I try to play the files I don't get a picture I just get the
sound. I looked up the problem on the microsoft.com site and it says to do

running sp2.  1st time i connected the camcorder xp detected the camera and
i successfully downloaded video into Windows Movie Maker.  The connection was
IEEE1394.  All subsequent attempts to connect the camcorder are not detected

After transferring my vhs to dvd on a panasonic dmr-ez40r burner, I have
been unable to  capture the video off my harddrive.  I can play them but
unable to create a file in order to import them microsoft movie maker.
