I can view the avi files in Windows Media player but when I try to burn to a disc, I get an error message that reads, "Windows encountered a problem when trying to copy this file." What to do?

when ever i close window,specially internet explorer my monitor has the effect instead of just disappearing it has like a falling down curtain on my monitor i have a nvidia fx 5200 a lcd monitor ,200 gig harddrive ,1gig memory.

After creating an .avi file with Movie Maker, the playback is just thousands of colors, no picture. This only happens when I save it to my second hard drive. If I save and play from my c: drive, it works fine. What is going on?

I just put n three DV Tapes worth of Christmas stuff (whew!) and pieced together music, photos and videos in the MOVIE MAKER. I have used this program for about two years and have enver had a problem - but now I do and can't figure it out !!

i've been trying to create my movie, but when I tell it to copy to cd it takes forever. It get's to 58% and just sits there. Is this normal? If not what can I do to fix this?

I have Windows XP with a DVD Drive. In the past I have transfered video from my camcorder to DVD disc, but now I would like to know how to capture a picture from a video and print it. Do I need some kind of software? Appreciate your help and a healthy and Happy New Year.
