I have a weird problem. I downloaded an avi file from the net. I tried
to play it in Real Player, Windows Media Player, Quicktime, and BS
Player and none played it. Windows Media and Real Player only played
the audio, but no video.  Quicktime gave me an error message that it

I bought this PC about 2.5 years ago. It came with an Nvidia graphics card
and a TV tuner operated via WinDVR. It all worked well for a while but i
haven't been able to record any TV program on the hard disc for ages as this

I did not have this problem with WMP v9, but whenever I attempt to play a
video in WMP, all I get is a black screen. I don't know where to start to
look for a solution. I have no problems with other graphics, nor does my
monitor suffer any strange symptoms.

I've finished my movie. It has clips, text and audio (video placed in the

According to my video card company, ATI Radeon, the new drivers installed
new codecs and replaced some others.. that is why Moviemaker can no longer
open certain files. They suggested I hunt down the old codecs and try to

How can I make my slide show fit to the length of my audio track?

I can watch the DVD on tv but the sound only plays through my laptop.  How do
