I want to watch avi movies with the media player (version 10), but there
is no picture; it is just black. It is the same problem for other
software (nero 7 etc.) - I can hear the sound, and shuffle through the
file, which seems to play normally, but without any picture. The same

i have downloaded a movie every time i want to copy it to disc it will only
let me copy to a cd I want to b able to play it on my  home dvd player & tv
how do mi chang the file type if thats what i have to do?????

Every time I attempt to update my video card with the latest drivers (81.98
forceware) I get the following error message:
"The Nvidia Setup Program has detected that one or more Microsoft Hardware
Installation Wizards are active. Do you with continue with Setup? Click Yes

I have a 5 gig file I can play it fine in movie maker when I come to save it
as a high quality AVI DVI - PAL file it creates it then dies just as it
finishes and the program bombs? Any clues?

I just bought a Liteon DVD writer SOHW-1653S bundled with a box of 10
HP DVD+R 8X.
