I don't know a lot about video files/formats, so I'd appreciate suggestions.
When converting a DVD to another video format, several options are
available.  I wonder which would prove to be the most compact and which
would be the easiest to manage, edit and if possible resize.

trying to capture video from a hitachi 8mm analog. Camera out put cord is
good (I have audio & video when connected to TV), but when I connect to video
capture device (HP Media Center PC) I get video, but no evidence of audio

I wish to edit a DVD with 1970 old home movies that were transfered from
movie to VCR and finally this particular DVD.

message that sais no graphics control filter.and also on all the websites
some of the pictures arent there theres just an outline of them.could

LCD panel.  They are connected using DVI interface.  The panel has maximum
resolution 1280 x 1024 while the graphic card has 1280 x 960 maximum.  Thus

I recently started having a problem playing MPEG files in Windows XP. Here's
what I know and have done so far:
* The problem only occurs when I try to play an MPEG file from the Internet.
