My other half bought a new LCD 17 inch monitor (AOpen).  It works fine
on this computer with a graphics card in the pci slot.  Him and I just
built a computer from scratch and the motherboard did not have an
onboard video so we bought the GeForce w/3D fuzion graphics card

My mpg video clips do not play properly when I import them into Windows Movie
maker 2. The clips only plays the sound, but does not display the video.
What is wrong here?

dear friends,
my dvd-rom plays video cd's but not dvds. i have an updated win dvd player,
but still the media is not recognized in the dvd rom. any idea?

friends. Nothing copyrighted, nothing illegal, just some silliness that would
be fun to add to a video of "old days and old friends" but...

Ok.
I've shot a movie, burned it onto a dvd-rw disk and am now trying to edit
it.  The problem is, Movie Maker dosn't support the file type.  Is there any
way I could get around that?

I own a portable dvd player that is able to play picture/video  cd r's and

Media. Each individual game file is too large to burn onto a 4.7G DVD+RW.
