I have a program that will only run on a screen resolution of  1280 x 1024
or greater, but the program is very graphically nothing. I s there any way
to fake a screen resolution so that I can use this program on a lower
resultion?

When I try to veiw internet news video etc. the audio is ok but the veiwer
screen is dark, making the video hard to see. This doesn't happen with every
video, but most of them act this way. This happens with Windows media player,

A couple of days ago I installed Windows XP Pro and after
that MediaPlayer10.
I notice a problem when watching videos ( for example from
websites such as www.cnn.com and others )

I like to look at my jpg and avi files in Tv. To do that I usually
connect my laptop s-video port with a proper s-video cable to Tv
s-video port. When I switch on the Pc I see the Pc monitor black and
the initial splash screens of Windows Xp booting in Tv. That's all.

Our local PBS stations airs half hour painting instruction programs.
There are typically 4 programs to a painting.
I recorded them on our DVR in the cable box and then copies them to
DVD-RW disks using a DVD Recorder.

The problem I am having is that the Editing Software (ImageMixer) that came
with my new Sony DVD camera will only allow be to burn my edited movie back
onto the Camcorder.
