Hi all. I´ve recently formatted my hard drive and reinstalled Win XP SP2.
After that, I just couldn´t get the display to work like before. I bought
the computer about a year ago, and had never had any kind of display problem
before.

I want to either edit out commercials, or figure out how to burn a 2 1/2 hour
movie on a 2 hour DVD?
I would like the ability to edit the recorded movie to edit out commercials.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

my windows media player doesnt play back any videos, but
has audio.  all movies and episodes dont show but there
is only audio present.  I reinstalled media player and it
didnt work and I also reinstalled the WM9codecs packages

Using WMM I can use the Sony as a "pass thru" codec with my Canon Hi-8
as source provided that I select "Portions of Cassette" in WMM,

i had a problem regarding the VCD quality using the nero software v.6.0
When i burn VCD with WMV clip( format high quality 7xx X 6xx ), nero convert
wmv into mpeg1 which is required to play in VCD, ( 3xx X 2xx  format )

If I download a video clip from the internet via Mozilla and am finished
watching it and want to delete it from my computer, where does it download
to?  It is not in My Videos or My Documents.

Will AVI and MPEG burn to DVD? I tried to burn the MPEG to DVD with Nero 6
but got an error, no message. What do I need to do to get the MPEG file to
burn?

with media player 10 poperply, but it can not
play while inserted into powerpoint 2003.

When in "Create a DVD" mode and then "Creating Disk/Converting Files" the
process nearly finishes when I get an error message box reading, "Movie Maker
Cannot Create DVD Because an Error Occurred."

Ok. so i got most of my streaming video problems straightened out. now the
only problem i am having is that some of the windows media will stream and
some of it won't. realplayer and quicktime are not having any problems at
