now  I did fix it but I do not understand all the interaction...
there was  some  tools options  and the direct show  config files... I
unchecked  a few that  showed up in a directory of the newest installed

Have a Sony FS790 Centrino Laptop with Windows XP Pro as the OS. Trying to
capture video from my JVC GR-DVP7u camcorder. For some reason DV gate nor

I am trying to put together a Video system for my disabled nephew. He is
stricken with MS and works part time as a Radio DJ and other times as a
Mobile DJ. He is doing a charity event for a local festival.
He has a professional DJ system that he uses to do audio and video mixing.

I am having trouble burning Data Disc's on my Pioneer with Nero 7. I'm
told I should get more recent Firmware ( whatever that is??)
My question is how do I get this firmware and is it reversible (like

i use microsoft streets and trips with gps locator on my laptop, and i would
like to be able to record the screen while im using the gps software, and
have the recording output saved as a .wmv with windows movie maker or
another program.  i could use the video output on my laptop ...

I've made my movie on windows movie maker and connected my video camera up to
the computer with an IEEE cable etc and followed the steps on recording my
movie back onto DV tape. It finishes and says it has been recorded to tape

I need help with audio files in Windows Movie Make 2.
 The audio file I am using is 2 minutes and 23 seconds, but when I put it
in, it says its 5 minutes and 38 seconds. Why does it do that?
 I tried triming the audio file, but it stops in the middle of the song.

I would like to use a software such as  Windows Movie Maker to make a video
of my sons racing.  The camera is a Kodak camera and came with Quick Time
software.  Apparently the Movie Maker software and the Quicktime software are
not compatible because I can't download the video ...
