I cannot get WMP 10 to behave properly when my laptop is connected to
an external monitor (projector). If I am viewing a media file in WMP it
looks fine, but when I attempt to activate the projector connected to
the video card output, the WMP just goes blank. The media is still
MSNBC videos will not play in MSN or IE29 Apr 2006 19:55 GMT2
Every time I try to play a video say the Today Show on MSN or IE I get a
"MSN/IE has encountered a problem and must close " Then I'm asked if I want
to send an error report which I do, but is there a way to fix this?
This has been going on for quite a while.

I have a Dell Dimension 2350 Desktop. the screen resolution somehow
changed to 640x480 on monday...I installed the new video drivers(from
Dell's support site) for Win XP Home and when the installation program
ran, it asked me if it can over-write the older driver..I clicked on

Inserting a DVD movie usually does nothing but flash the disc icon 2 or 3
times.  CD's play w/o any prob.

I have a windows XP Home Edition desktop with Service Pak 2.   I connect my
Camcoder to it and when I try to recortd to transfer thew video from tape to
the desktop it doesn't do anything.   It works great on my LAPTOP so I
transfer the video from tape to LAPTOP to DVD and iot ...

Is there a way to make the saved movie play cintinueously like you would on a
VHS tape.  I want it to play all the way through and then start from the

i've got a problem noone seems to know an answer for... :(
i cannot play wmv-encoded video-files on my system. if i try to, the player
opens, shows the first frame of the video (but ONLY the first one - no
animation...) and plays the sound normally.

I have a new system with a GeForce 7800 GT OC video card (using the dual
display).  The DVD decoder is Cyberlink's PowerDVD.

Folks,
I have a Dell inspiron with XP professional loaded on it. I have a
couple of AVI files each of which is about 2.7Gb in size. WHen I try to
burn them on to a DVD as a data file, I get an error message saying
