ok i'm kinda new at this but everytime i go in2 wmp10 it always says (not
responding) after bout 5minutes it works. but when  i go to videos it plays
for a second or 2 then freezers, the sound continues on then all of a sudden
the picture finally catches up 2 the sound.

I have a digital video camera and would like to capture  the  video onto my  
computer through Movie Maker. Is there  a  certain video capture card  or
adapter  that I need ? The cable I have and the USB ports do not  match up.

I made a great slideshow using MS photostory 3, output file type 'wmv';
It should normally play on wmplayer.exe on most XP machines.
The following line will run perfectly on my pc from the START, RUN spot:

I have a combo TV tuner/Video capture card.  Windows XP Media Center Edition
will allow me to watch TV but I haven't found any option that will allow me
to view the analog (s-video or composite) inputs from the tuner card in full
screen.

Why is the option to input AIV files greyed out?  I have a Sony HC32 with
USB2, (my Dell laptop doesn't have Firewire) and AVI files can be uploaded
through the Sony software, but not through Movie Maker.

I have been trying to burn a dvd but keep getting an error message "burn
failed", in "my computer"-"devices with removable storage" I right click on
CD Drive (D:) and, when loaded with blank dvd disk in the properties tab it
states 0 bytes used, 0 bytes empty, capacity 0 bytes.

I am trying to set my parents computer to 32 bit true color but it is not an
option.  It will only let me select 16 or 24 bit.  32 does not even show up.  
I know the computer will support it as i have used it before.  The computer

I have imported a movie from my camera to Movie Maker.  I save the project to
a disk and opened it on another computer, I get those dreaded red X's in the
storyboard.  How can I save the project and work on it on another computer?
