Save to DVD Link missing in Windows Movie Maker24 May 2006 02:16 GMT2
I have two PCs, both with Sonic DVD burning software and DVD burners...On one
PC, WMM has a link to "Save To DVD" on the other the link is missing. (WMM
will not drill to sonic to make the DVD for me.)
The only difference I can think of is that the PC with the link came all
endless loop when saving in WMM24 May 2006 02:08 GMT3
I can't save any movies in WMM2.1.4026.0.
Even a 2 seconds source video results in an endless loop/hang when saving.
Progress bar shows anything between 4% and 16% but the "time remaining"
increases constantly. The target file remains at 6K. No CPU usage, no disk

Hi
I want to capture and edit home movie footage in Windows Movie Maker from
old VHS tapes.
When I try to capture from my VCR, I get an error message telling me that

i need .mow to to work in the karsokow software tool on an windows system...
but all the file from the moviemaker program are all wmv!!
and no options for something else...:(

I have a new PC; a Windows Media Center Edition 2005 (Dell XPS 400) with all
updates.  I installed an Adaptec FireConnect 4300 card from my old WindowsXP
Professional PC.  Everytime I turn on my Sharp VL-NZ100 DV Camorder to VCR
mode, Windows states; "Found new hardware....... ...

I've recently downloaded a video - it downloaded in avi format. When I go to
watch it in the Windows Media Player all i get is the sound-no video.
I also tried burning the movie to a DVD - it comes up with an error saying

My son's friend has been "adjusting" video settings on his PC (XP Home,
onboard video) and is now in the position where:
- XP Splash screen shows OK
- "Windows sound" is heard at the stage that is normally comes on.

I tried connecting my VCR directly to my tv tuner card but all I get i

I've downloaded  4 parts of a 'bridge' tutorial on Windows Media Player - and
they play perfectly. But when I click on 'play selection' they play in random
order even though the playlist shows them in the correct order. Does anybody
know how I can play them in sequence? It's not ...

Here’s my question:  Do I need to change anything?
Here’s why I’m asking:  My computer operates fine, except for a nagging
problem with Windows Explorer.  Every time I insert or remove a thumb drive
and occasionally when I insert or remove a DVD or CD-ROM, my Windows Explorer
