since I'vedownloaded the Windows Movie Maker I havent been able to import any
of my .avi files (which play fine on WMP). It tells me I need a codec which
it will automatically download, and to just restart the program. Well, I've

im using my tcn travel cel laptop and i cant play a dvd because it sais that
my screen resilution is not set propely or somthin, but i have done every
thing it tells me to but i still cant play dvd's PLEASE HELP!

ok i have been having a lot of trouble burning a DVD, i have a lot of files
that i downloaded and tehy are in .avi format. i downloaded a few programs
that say they can burn dvds (dvd sants, winavi and sonic something?) they all
did their converting stuff and tehn i tried to burn ...

I have the old Hi8 Camcorder, but it got the S-Video output Jack for sending
the recorded signals.
I have the S-Video In jack in my laptop, but the Windows Movie Maker does
not recognise the Video device.

videos skip and stop when playing. running out of things to try. anyone had

I have been recently making a photoshow, and it looks like it will be small
enough to fit onto a CD, and i think it would be a waste to put it onto a DVD
due to its size. So i was wondering if there was a way to put movie clips and
such onto a CD and have it run on a DVD player ...

from the dvd rom drive it downloads to the end and then i get error message

I have a PC sitting at the reception desk in an office.  We want to have a
very easy digital signage set up.  About 20 or 30 feet from from the
receptionists desk they want to put an LCD display in the lobby.
