since I'vedownloaded the Windows Movie Maker I havent been able to import any
of my .avi files (which play fine on WMP). It tells me I need a codec which
it will automatically download, and to just restart the program. Well, I've
restarted it and even rebooted it several times, ...

ok i have been having a lot of trouble burning a DVD, i have a lot of files
that i downloaded and tehy are in .avi format. i downloaded a few programs
that say they can burn dvds (dvd sants, winavi and sonic something?) they all
did their converting stuff and tehn i tried to burn ...

I have the old Hi8 Camcorder, but it got the S-Video output Jack for sending
the recorded signals.
I have the S-Video In jack in my laptop, but the Windows Movie Maker does

I have been recently making a photoshow, and it looks like it will be small
enough to fit onto a CD, and i think it would be a waste to put it onto a DVD
due to its size. So i was wondering if there was a way to put movie clips and

try to burn the vhsdvd to my pc i get an error message, if i try to import it

Media player has suddenly started crashing when I try to play any type of avi
file - including files that I had played earlier this evening with no
