I am having trouble playing DVDs on my laptop.  When windows media player
plays the dvd i get sound but no video/picture, just a black screen.  Please
help

I have ripped a movie from a DVD to the HHD
using DVDShrink and the resulting files play
perfectly well on the computer.
But when I burn the movie files to a DVD-r

I have a 2.7GB AVI file (uncompressed) created via softcam on WIn XP
pro.  It appears I cannot play or split the file into a smaller avi due
to missing summar properties.  I'm hoping someone out there can help me
figure out how 'fix' the file to make it either splitable or playable.

Does this mean that if I connect to a TV that I can only put the computer

I can't play my videos on WMP. The sound works, thats it. When I try to edit,
a message comes up telling me to unistall some codec but I don't know what
it's talking about. Somebody please help me.

I right now have a dual monitor set up, I was just curious if anyon
knew if there were any way to set up additional monitors... I'm sorry

my cpu came preloaded w/dvd playing app.  had to reformat drive.  downloaded
WMP 11 beta (indicates codecs included).  I dont like buying software via
e-dnld.   Where Is codecs (might it be) stored,  win XP, driver, other disk??

Does anyone know where I can find HD WMV DVD's?  I'm not ready to commi
to BD or HDDVD, and I have a large monitor and like watching HD on m
computer...
