I  have  a film which is in an avi format but I want to edit some frames out
of it because I dont want my kids to watch them but every time I try to
inport it from my hard drive I get this message
avi cannot be inported because the codec required to play this file is not

my (sony) dvd player has stopped playing my mini dvds- when i put one in, i
get a message about formatting the blank CD i have just put in the drive.

I have created a project and am trying to save it as DV-AVI onto the PC
hard-disk.  I will then use Sonic to burn a DVD.  When it starts the
formatting it takes >4 hours to tell me it has been unsucessful.  It is not
storage space, any thoughts?

I have the Sonic cd/dvd program and when attempting to copy my mini dvd from
my Sony handycam to a blank DVD RW I get the following message,"your

not recognise the camcorde. Had no problem with the previous version of movie
