It worked very well when my XP wasn't updated to SP2. Now my computer can't capture the video via 1394. I have installed KB885222, but no improvement at all. I have sent the video camera to Canon but their computer with Windows 2000 can capture the video.

I'm using Media Maker 2.1 and i figured out how to capture video from my Sony Digital 8 camcorder. But it comes out black & white, no color. I've tried various settings and still no luck. Any ideas? Thanks!

hi, we record about 10 minutes of video. we then need to send it to another person via email or other method. the 10 minute video comes out as an avi file and is 652MB, is there a way to shrink this to a more manageable size? thanks sue
