I can't get a disc of hockey pictures I bought to play on my pc .My hard
drive does not seem to be working.The green light comes on for a second and
then goes out .I have tried several other discs and the same thing happens

I cant seem to get DVDs to play in windows media player since I installed
windows xp 64 when I try it just says
Windows Media Player cannot play the DVD because a compatible DVD decoder is
not installed on your computer.

I want to make these for gifts for my children.
I have taken a silent home movie of ours and copied it onto a DVD from video
tape using my stand alone VCR and DVD Recorder/Player.

I have all the current versions of this on my computer, and have service pac
2 installed as well,  however, my friend has 39 different VIDEO EFFECTS
available, and I only have 28.  How can I acquire the addtional effects?

I just purchased a new computer that came with Windows XP plus Media Center.
It does a great job recording the shows I want to view later, but I can't
see any way to burn them to a dvd for veiwing on other dvd players. They are
not readily available as video files.

Can't view any video clips in the preview clip box. It plays the audio but no
video. Trying to use mpeg clips that I captured off a camcorder. What can I
do to be able to view the clips?

when i put any disc in driver the green light comes on and starts to read it

I've a labtec pro web cam on XP profesional. The picture freezes from time to
time. If I do not click anything on computer, it streams for 10-20 min, if
not it freezes immidiatly. I tryed to to everithing. The driver is the
latest... Anybody???

If my driver does not read my disc ,does that mean the driver is broken ?Is
there any way for me to check this myself or do I need to get a pro to do
this .I had not used the driver for some time ,is there such a thing as it
may just be dirty or need a bit of oil or something ...
