video adapter, I can't get DVDs to play.  They used to play just fine before
I had to reinstall WinXP.  I've even installed the new version of PowerDVD

I have a question, no matter what software I use to convert AVI to VCD the
soundtrack is always off. I don't have a DVD/RW so I have to convert to VCD
to watch dwonloaded movies on my DVD players. Does anyone know why the
soundtrack is off when the videos are converted?

Somebody put me outta my misery please. Have a sony dcr trv245e. Have tried
to copy to pc and then burn to dvd, problem is that I get picture but no

I have spent hours trying to burn a dvd using Sonic MyDVD to no avail. I have
saved my movie in AVI format (from windows movie maker). The size of my AVI
file is 21.1GB - 1 hour 44 mins. When I import it into MyDVD, the burn button
is greyed out - thus it is too big to fit on ...

For some reason, I no longer get audio when I play a DVD Video file,
either from the hard drive or from the DVD drive.  This is true
whether I use WMP, RealPlayer, or Nero Media Player.  I can play mpg
video files and get audio, I can play mp3 audio files from my hard
