I  have used Movie Maker to make home videos from my digital camcorder.  
Movie Maker seems like it is finishing the disc with a .wmv format.  Do I
need addl' software to convert this?  I am unable to play it on our DVD
players, although the CD-R does load to the computer.

I have lost my sound, and when I go to the control panel and open up
speakers etc, I cannot move the bar to adjust the volume.  It just
won't slide--nor am I able to change the speaker settings.  I get an
occasional sound from the speakers, but I am unable to get the sound to

I am experiencing a very odd situation.  I have an ATI Radeon 9600 AGP
card running Windows XP Pro SP2. The CPU is an AMD 3500+ (I believe),
so it's nice and fast. 2GB of RAM too.
The screen repainting rate is very fast when I DON'T have Windows or
