I have a folder containing *.MPG files renamed for *.mod files, when I open
the foldr I get the 'eggtimer' then explorer crashes and sends error replort,
I am using the latest video drivers. I have other computers where I can open
these files and play them in Windows Media Player ...

I recently bought an hdv camera,Sony HVR V1P but the computer fails to
detect it,oops sorry it detects it but fails to show in the Matrox

ive been copying dvds and they have worked with nero express and windows xp.  
added dvdshrink 3.2 and dvdDecrypter to my programs and worked well for about
3 dvds.  Now it wont read any copied dvds, or any blank dvds that i put it.

When I capture large .avi files (VCR movies for example @14GB) I don't
seem to be able to copy/ move them - error message says not enough disc
space; please free space and try again, but there is lots of free space

Any file, any playback program.  Video won't play, but audio will.  After
loading the file, cpu % jumps to 99% for wmplayer.exe. Have to wait 10
minutes for the task manager to even load before I can close it.  Once
closed, everything returns to normal.

Every time i try to run MMK2, it crashes... I've tried downloading the sp2
again and re-installing, but I keep getting the same result. If anyone has

When I try to save a mpeg  or wmv file the system will not save to a folder
which I was able to do until recently. Can somebody help me with this problem?

i downloaded an mpeg file from limewire. i want to delete that file but i
cant. i tried right clicking and moving it but i cant. when i click on it to
open it, all it does is open my media player and nothing happens. it just
seems to be a ghost icon, but it wont move.

When trying to view some videos, namely wmv files off the web,
the videos look corrupted with a negative color image instead
of the normal colors. Is there a setting that I have overlooked
somewhere that will restore the proper colors? I'm using WMP 11.

I have winxp home and for some reason I am unable to get to volume
control, u know where you are able to adjust sliders/mixers etc.  I
have the speaker icon on my task bar as always, when i left click it
the volume slider pops up as it should and i can adjust level of sound,

I have a strange CPU spiking problem. When I open a directory of AVI's (and
only AVI's, not MPG's or other video files) in Windows Explorer, and I hover
the mouse from file to file, my CPU has little spike's as it attempts to read
each file and display dimension / duration ...
