I've previously viewed DVDs on this computer, but now when I put in a DVD,
the computer doesn't read it.  Actually, I'm not really sure if "read" is the
right word, but whatever, it says there's no disc in the drive.  ???  I've
tried putting multiple DVDs in, same thing every ...

After doing an installation of XP SP 2 on my friend's e machine T2542, I
can only get a very low resolution display. It doesn't matter which
monitor I use. The results are the same, so even the plug and pray
doesn't work.

I am getting this error when i am downloading a movie.  I am trying to see
the sample before it is done downloading.  When i go to it in my documents
and click on sample windows media player comes up then the error C00D11CD.
Can anyone tell me what is happening and how I can fix ...

i have a problem when i try to add pictures or videos files to nero vision,

Sometimes I download video file that have an extension like avi.12 or some
other number in sequence. My windows media player will not play these and I
don't know what will open and play them. Any suggestions?  Thanks for the

I am unable to get windows update to install moviemaker 2.

I am having a huge problem with my computer.  When I log into World of
Warcraft I might play anywhere between  5 to 20 mins then I freeze and
my computer shuts its self off.  I have updated drivers - scran for
virsus - checked to be sure I had DirectX9.0c - turned of virsus

I was surprised that MP11 does not have neccessary codec to play a simple DVD
which is easily plyed on winDVD.
They recomend to buy the codec from third party ,but winDVD comes as free
with the laptop .

it *does* play Divx3-LM with mp3 audio, but not with AC3.
it does not complain about missing a codec or something, but
it won't start. i can only watch still pictures while sliding it.
