I'm sure this has been asked before, but what file format do I need t convert my mov. files into to be compatible with windows movie maker. tried the rad tools on papajohn's web, but when I press convert file, i shuts down.

I am running xp pro,fully updated.i use winavi6.3 to convert avi files to dvd format. sometimes it converts the avi into two separate dvd files. how can i stop winavi doing this. if i cannot stop this action,is it possible to write the two files to make one correct dvd film
