I have a widescreen monitor.  When I play widescreen DVD movies using Media
Player and go into full screen mode, it still only goes up to the 4:3 size
(the sides are black...so the software uses the full screen, but just doesn't

I am getting emails returned as "too large a file" to be recvd from family.
In particular, the email I am trying to send is a mpeg video attachment from
dgital camera. I want to change this file to a .wmv flie. Is this possible?

My first post had an error. I downloaded my camcorder video to Windows Movie
Maker not Media Player.
I did then burn it to a cd using the Media Player in the data setting as
that was all that was available, there was not a video option.

Up to a month ago, the following URL opened WMP11:

On boot up the computer hangs for about 30 seconds at the welcome
screen,before going on through to desktop,after everything seems ok.

I am playing a video from a website and I am getting the normal voice and in
the background I am getting a high pitched voice the same as when audio is
playing at High speed.
I am using Windows XP SP2.
