ok here's the situation.
needed to install microsoft office 2007 on my boyfriends computer. we do not
have the interweb. brother gave me a cd with service pack 2 on it, cos 2007
wont install on sevice pack 1. here the problems begin.

I just reformatted my comp with windows XP home and updated and installed all
drivers but now everytime I reboot the system it just keeps rebooting or
shuts down all the way.
This started when I updated the video driver which is SIS based 741.

Since the videos made on the Everio are .mod files how are they to be
converted in order to use WMM as my editing program?
I tried changing the .mod to .mpeg but they are still not accepted when I

just randomly freeze and then give me a box saying " WIndows Movie Maker has

I have created a movie in MSWMM and am trying to save it in a format that I
can view on a DVD player.  I have saved my movie as a .wmv file and am trying
to burn it to a DVD using Nero 7 but the file is not recognized.  Any ideas?

Anyone know how to adjust volume on individual clips *without* effecting
volume on other clips in the movie?  I can adjust between Audio from Video
and Vudio from music fine, but when I do so, it effects *all* the volume
settings for the whole project.   Any suggestions please?

I have had troubles with writing DVDs that play on my DVD player. Ulead
Movie Factory Suite 3.5 just gave up completely - it would not write a DVD

I have 2 DVD drives and both have stopped playing certain DVDs, mainly retail
ones but also some DVD games.  I have no problem with CDs and most Copied
DVDs.  I have tried updating the firmware.  I have all the codecs I need and

When I attempt to save a movie I have made, it says it cannot save because
the project has missing source files.  What are source files and how do I
retrieve them or delete them so that I can burn this to a CD?
