I am facing a strange problem. Recently I updated my PC with windows XP Professional.(SP2). After installation, I tried to install audio and video driver. Audio driver installed and working correctly. I had Windows XP (don't remember Home or Professional edition).

When I try to play a video all I get is the audio portion with no video. I upgraded to win media 10 but problem still persists?

I captured some videos with Nero 7 which does so only in mp4 format. But WMP 11 does not recognize the file format as a Media file. I thought Microsoft's wmv format itself was mpeg-4 and WMP 11 plays wmv files. Is mp4 different from wmv format?

Just upgraded to WMP version 11.0.5721.5145. After WMP11 upgrade I installed WMEncoder 9 codec pack. Also installed GSPot270A to discover the audio and video codecs on my laptop. WinXP Control Panel reveals that 14 video codecs are on laptop. GSPot shows 288 audio and video ...

Hi! I recently tried to watch a DVD on my laptop, which I have playe before and to cut a long story short - it won't play. On some home burned CD's I get sound only. There is an error code COOD10BF.
