I'm unable to download anything from the Internet at the
moment. For some time now I've had this problem. I've
already run Adaware and have Norton 2004. Neither have

 I have a new Sony Vaio, w-510g.
it come with XP Home.  I need to do some IIS dev.  I want
to upgrade to XP Pro.
When I upgrade, It gets stuck in a loop.  the message "

This error message appears every time I boot my Windows XP
machine.  Any ideas how I'd remove it?  It appears in a
little box titled FYI and all I can do is close it.  I

I would like to set up a scheduled task to defrag the c drive.  Does anyone
know the command to defrag a specific drive so it will automatically start
defragging instead of sitting on the screen to either defrag or analyze.

There's nothing there.  Nothing on the page works.
I read and tried going to windows\inf\pchealth and right clicking, running
the install.  That is supposed to fix it.  It didn't.
I would just reload the xp pro but if I do, will that reload help?  Will it

The volume and power icons in my system tray disappear
every time i boot up.  i have to reclick the "place icon
in system tray" for either one of them and both of htem
then show up.  How do i fix this problem?
